to say! Are y’all
As brands compete for a consumer’s attention, interactive video content provides a greater edge than static content because it invites the viewer to be engaged. 60% of people prefer video over reading text.
Video content is also more memorable than static content. In a survey conducted by Forbes only 14% of respondents could recall the last display ad they saw but 80% could remember the previous video ad.
Video shoots are one of the most thrilling parts of working in marketing. The lights, cameras, people getting all dolled up—it’s a slight glimpse into the Hollywood life.
A typical day consists of running in 10 different directions sweating to get the job done, but with adrenaline pumping it’s our life.
Online video content is one of the few types of online material that offers the value, importance and flexibility needed to fully attain the goal of capturing the audience’s attention.
According to Hubspot, 43% of people want to see more video content from marketers and the demand is continuing to grow. With 100 million hours of Facebook video content viewed daily, video content is practically begging to go viral.
Video content is growing and we are rolling!
Today at L&P there was not a single case of the Mondays! The buzz of the solar eclipse filled the office all morning as we anxiously anticipated the big moment. Coming into today some of us may not have known much about it but well before noon, the whole team was on the eclipsing bandwagon. With the last eclipse being 40 years ago and the last coast-to-coast solar eclipse being 99 years ago, we knew we couldn’t miss this! Lunch break was a little extended today as we channeled our inner astrologists and ran up to the roof to catch the action.
At 1:16 the moon perfectly aligned between the sun and the earth and we experienced Houston’s partial solar eclipse. We even scored some couture solar eclipse glasses!
We were sure to live stream the eclipse so we could embrace the total eclipse from our desktops. The moon completely blocking the sun and it becoming sunrise, sunset and a starry night all at the same time was mind-blowing—we can only imagine what it would be like to actually be there.
….and the countdown to the 2024 eclipse begins!
